NOTE: These recipes can also be made using Health Sutra Jowar, Ragi, Bajra and Yellow Jowar Flakes as well. Also, do not soak these flakes in water while making any of your delicious dishes.
HEALTH SUTRA RECIPES

CHUDWA / MILLET CHAT PHATIngredients: 1. Health Sutra Jowar/Yellow Jowar/Bajra/Ragi/Barley Flakes - 2 Cups 2. Peanut - 1 Table spoon 3. Cashew nut - 10 No 4. Mustard seeds (Rai), Cumin (Jeera) - 1 tea spoon 5. Curry leaves 6. Red chilli - 1 No 7. Salt - as per taste 8. Chilli powder - as per taste 9. Turmeric powder - a pinch 10. Sugar – a pinch 11. Lemon - half 12. Oil - 1 spoon Directions: • Heat 1 spoon of oil in cooking pan and add peanuts, cashew nuts, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves, red chilli and turmeric powder and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups Health Sutra flakes, little salt, red chilli powder and dry roast for 2-3 minutes. Finally squeeze half a lemon, add a pinch of sugar and mix it well. Enjoy a snack that is both healthy and delicious. • You can add chopped onions, tomato, green coriander this to the chudwa along with grated carrot. Sprinkle a pinch of Chat Masala if you like it spicy!! (Note: we can make this recipe by mixing different kinds of Health Sutra flakes also)

KHEER/PAYASAM WITH FLAKESIngredients: 1. Health Sutra Jowar/Yellow Jowar/Bajra/Ragi/Barley Flakes - 1 cup 2. Ghee - 4 spoons 3. Milk -3 cups 4. Grated Jaggery - 75 grams 5. Cardamom powder - ½ Tea spoon 6. Cashew, Raisins (Kismish) – 5 each Directions: • Fry cashew and raisins (kismish) in ghee and keep aside. Add little ghee in cooking pan and dry roast 1 cup of Health Sutra flakes for 2 minutes, keep this also aside. Boil 3 cups of milk and add grated jaggery and boil for some time. • After the jaggery melts add the roasted Health Sutra flakes and boil for 1-2 minutes. Now add cardamom powder and mix for 1-2 minutes then get it off the stove. (Note: For the diet conscious, Flakes can also be boiled in water instead of milk. In that case, soak 1 cup of flakes in 1 ½ cup of water for 3 minutes and boil in 1 cup of milk for 2 minutes)

FLAKES LADDUIngredients: 1. Health Sutra Jowar/Yellow Jowar/Bajra/Ragi/Barley Flakes - ½ cup 2. Ragi or Millet Flour - 1 cup 3. Powdered Jaggery - 90 grams 4. Dried Coconut Grated - ½ Table spoon 5. Cardamom powder - Pinch 6. Cashew -5 nos, Peanuts (groundnut) – 5 nos 7. Ghee - 4 Tea spoons Directions: • Heat ghee in a cooking pan and dry roast the Health Sutra flakes, ragi/millet flour, powdered jaggery, grated dry coconut and keep it aside. • After that roast the peanuts, cashew nuts and break them into small pieces. Mix the powdered jaggery, dried coconut, cardamom powder, peanuts, cashew nuts, roasted flakes and flour. Heat the left over ghee and add into the laddu mix. Now make the round ​​​ ​​​​ laddus. (Notice: We can also make these laddus using different kinds of flakes. Ragi flakes are best suited for this recipe.)

FLAKES BIRYANIIngredients: 1. Health Sutra Ragi/Jowar/Yellow Jowar/Bajra Flakes - 2 cups 2. Vegetables - Potatoes, Onion, Carrot (Thinly sliced) 3. Green Chilli – 3 No (Sliced) 4. Mint, Coriander (Thinly chopped) - 1 Table spoon 5. Biryani masala - 1 Tea spoon 6. Turmeric powder – a pinch 7. Chilli powder – a pinch 8. Ginger garlic paste 9. Oil - 2 Tea spoon Directions: • In a thick vessel add oil, put in some ginger garlic paste and add the vegetables, also add some biryani masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and fry until slightly cooked. • Add Health Sutra flakes, sprinkle a few drops of water. Cover the lid and cook over medium flame for 2-3 minutes, add finely chopped mint and coriander and get it off the stove. Flakes Biryani is ready! (Notice: This recipe can only be made using Ragi, Jowar, Yellow Jowar and Bajra Flakes. Barley flakes are not suitable for this recipe. Dont soak flakes in water)
